About

My name is Jennie Norgaard. I am from Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. I have one older brother who lives in Saskatoon. I graduated from Carpenter High School and enjoy playing soccer, basketball, volleyball and badminton in my spare time.

I was currently involved in CPT, which was computer production technology. I was involved with all the filming and editing in the class. I really enjoyed making videos with my friends. We had lots of laughs and good times. That was one of my favorite classes that I have taken in High School. However I did not do any acting because I don’t like acting and being in front of the camera.

This is one video that we had to make. Its just a remake of a music video.

I think that it is a good thing that technology is being involved in the classroom from K-12 classrooms because now a days everybody lives their life using technology. Everything in today’s society revolves around technology.

I think this class is going to be interesting due to the fact that it is all going to be online. But I also think that it is a good thing that it is online because we need to know how to use technology because of how everything in today’s society revolves around it. It will give everyone a chance to use technology and experience different things in their life. Without experiencing different things you never know if you like it, you will never know how to use it and you will never be up to date with everything that is happening in the world.

Hi Jennie
Stumbled upon the links to your class’s blogs via twitter (you’ve got to be careful around that Mr Shareski!) so I thought I’d drop in and have a look at the blogs created for your class!
I’m a teacher in Sydney, Australia so you just never know who will visit and read about your learning journey… or make a suggestion or two!
I hope you get lots out of this course and enjoy establishing a Personal Learning Network of your own – this is a brave new world where we can connect and collaborate… even when we live ‘down under’! So many ways to connect – I use edmodo and twitter and Educators’ PLN ning… plus wikis and my employer’s microblogging service too (which joins all the teachers currently working in public education in the state of NSW – i.e. New South Wales).
All the best… I’ll drop in again to see how things are going!
Regards,
Deb Hogg (debhoggoz)
